TOKYO CONFEDERACY RESUMES ACTIVITY

3202-11-10

After decades of inactivity led most to believe the Tokyo Confederacy, an organisation rumoured to predate The Scream, had ceased to exist. These illusions were broken today, when it has been revealed the Confederacy has established a base of operations on the world of Thordis (Ina, 0209). The Leader of the Confederacy made this announcement:

"This is the first step towards a better place for everyone. Friends I urge you to under our banner to fight for a safer tomorrow for our children. Too long we lived in fear under the influence of psychics. We will no longer be influenced by people who are considered better than us. It is time to fight against the tyranny and injustice these so called "chosen ones" are able to freely do without any consequences. Time to demonstrate we are better."

STATEMENT FROM DELTA CORPORATION IN RESPONSE TO UAC STATEMENT

3202-11-07

In response to the UAC response to our article on the UAC attack on Delta Corporation offices earlier this week, Delta Corp have issued a new statement:

"The recent statement from UAC does not accurately reflect this situation. DeltaCorp received no communication from the UAC warning of any military action. No negotiations have been made between DeltaCorp and UAC, apart from the legal dispute over our investments on their home planet.

DeltaCorp employs civilians from across Arcadia. We cannot condone any military action against our employees, even if the actions failed. These actions are clear human rights violations that the once peaceful UAC would never have allowed. Through these actions, it is clear that there is corruption in the collective; a corruption that prevents the UAC from being the peaceful organisation it once was.

I urge the UAC to make an investigation into the decisions that were made that caused the planned attack on civilians, and to bring justice to those who could have been harmed in the attack. I wish to continue to work in peace with the UAC and to continue to work towards the betterment of everybody's lives in Arcadia."

Havina Sperlov, CEO DeltaCorp

STATEMENT FROM UAC REGARDING MILITARY STRIKE ON DELTA CORPORATION OFFICES

3202-11-07

In regards to the recently reported news of a strike fleet attempting to destroy the local offices of Delta Corporation on the UAC's captial world, Teus (Actoylm, 0403), the Collective has published a statement:

"The peaceful nation of UAC has very little desire to engage in hostile actions; however, Delta Corp’s continued attacks on our economy can not be tolerated. We were cautious yet did not act when Delta Corp decided to increase their economy on our home planet at our expense. We attempted to resolve the matter legally and but Delta Corps could not be reasoned with. We are more than happy to peacefully coexist; but further attacks on our economy, or otherwise, will be met with retribution."

ARCADIAN FEDERATION BEGINS TAKEOVER OF NEW WORLDS

3202-11-07

The motives of arrivals of Federation forces on the worlds of Todioa Nora (Aethra, 0605) and Argus (Orsipyl, 0506) were revealed today as they set up bases of operations on the faction-neutral worlds, and have announced their intent to become the ruling government. With little contest from local forces, and no claims from other factions, the expansion of the Federation's borders are likely an inevitability, and will begin to meet the borders of Lotus Syndicate and The Maw territories. The President of the Arcadian Federation released this statement:

"The settlement of bases of influence are a continuation of our efforts to keep peace in the galaxy that we all call home. We would urge no other organisation or government to interfere with our plans."

UAC STRIKE FLEET ATTACKS DELTA CORP OFFICES

3202-11-04

The planet of Teus (Actoylm, 0403) was rudely awoken in the early hours this morning to the sound of UAC strike craft entering the atmosphere in an attempt to destroy the local offices of Delta Corporation, and harm their civilian workers. Rumours speculate the UAC targeted the lives of Delta Corporation employees in response to Delta's increasing market share in their local economy. Miraculously, the builidngs and people remained unscathed (not counting the legal damage done by UAC Lawyers mere days before the incident) due to what witnesses speculate to be a large scale weapons malfunction on the UAC fleet. The CEO of Delta Corporation released this statement after the attack:

"We are horrified to see DeltaCorp employees attacked and detained by UAC military personal. This is tyrannical behaviour that we are surprised to see by a previously peaceful collective."

LOTUS SYNDICATE VENTURE CAPITAL FAILURE

3202-11-01

High risk investments made by the illustrious Lotus Syndicate were dealt a crushing blow in the last few days. The economic giant had been profiting off investments into the high risk market of cryptocurrencies, which went suffered a spiral in the last closing day. While the Syndicate has plenty available funds to keep it stable, their growth will surely be slowed in the wake of this incident.

DELTA CORPORATION DOMINATES ARMS SALES ON TEUS

3202-10-29

Economic reports from the planet of Teus (Actolym, 0403) suggest that Delta Corporation's economic investments in the UAC-controlled world have paid off. The military manufacturer has established a monopoly for arms sales on the planet, having driven out other competition through superior sales figures and prices. This continues the pattern of Delta Corporation's expansion and economic growth through the sector.

ARCADIAN FEDERATION SPREADS FORCES

3202-10-17

In the last few days, Arcnet has received reports that a fleet of Arcadian Federation strike craft have left Federation territory and entered an orbital position on the world of Todioa Nora, in the system of Aethra (0605). Being close to Maw territory, the desert world is currently not under faction control. Just today, Arcadian Space Marines have landed on the world of Argus, another neutral world, in the system of Orsipyl (0506). A representative of the Arcadian Federation provided this statement:

"The recent expansion of the Arcadian Federation is an attempt to prevent any undesirable organisation to upset the otherwise peaceful nature of our galaxy. The moves will protect others and ourselves without encroaching on any rightfully claimed territories."

COBALT RUSH IN PIRATE SYSTEMS

3202-10-14

ArcNet probes and passing grey-law ships are reporting that a recent discovery of large cobalt deposits in the asteroid belt of the Romny system (0604) have lead to a major increase in the amount of mining operations in the area. The system, home to infamous pirate organization The Maw, has a major illegal spaceport, through which most of these mining operations have been setup. Increased numbers of unlicensed miners have been reported in the nearby area, and new industries are being hastily organised. This new rush may be a break in the recent shortages of Cobalt in the sector, however, ArcNet feels responsible to warn against trade with The Maw, due to their illicit activities.

DELTA CORPORATION EXPANDS ORE MINING OPERATIONS

3202-10-02

New constructions point to Delta Corporation aiming to expand its production, by procuring more raw materials. The biggest arms manufacturer and specialist military contractor in the sector, have constructed a mining facility on its base planet of Ledro (Maz 0104), and on the outskirts of the largest city in Mahni, (Raghnil, 0306), the capital world of the Arcadian Federation. A spokesperson for Delta Corporation had this to say: "Our current expansion will reduce the current inefficiencies surrounding sourcing and producing the rare and expensive resources we need to make our products the best possible value for our customers." Economic reports also show that Delta Corporation is making significant investments into the local economy of Teus (Actolym 0403), the capital world of the Unified Arcadian Collective.

INCREASED TRAFFIC IN FEDERATION SHIPYARDS

3202-09-29

Staff and Engineers have been noticing an increase in the amount of Arcadian Federation ships and personnel. While the space yards of Anas, the biggest industrial and military spaceyard in Federation controlled space are usually home to the system's standing navy, the public are noticing a large amount of combat vessels leaving the yard, and an increased amount of troop carriers in the area. Aside from patrols hunting the usual pirate threats in the sector, the Arcadian Federation is not known to be in any open conflicts at the time of writing, leaving much to speculation. Standard military routine? Training exercises? Or are the Federation preparing to make the first strike in a new intersector conflict? More details as they are received.
